$ wget https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/macbuntu/macbuntu-10.04/v2.3/Macbuntu-10.04.tar.gz -O /tmp/Macbuntu-10.04.tar.gz $ tar xzvf /tmp/Macbuntu-10.04.tar.gz -C /tmp $ cd /tmp/Macbuntu-10.04/ $ ./install.sh

How to install Macbuntu 10.10 v2.3  Maverick Meerkat
Open a terminal and type the following commands:

$ wget https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/macbuntu/macbuntu-10.10/v2.3/Macbuntu-10.10.tar.gz -O /tmp/Macbuntu-10.10.tar.gz $ tar xzvf /tmp/Macbuntu-10.10.tar.gz -C /tmp $ cd /tmp/Macbuntu-10.10/ $ ./install.sh

After Macbuntu finishes setting everything up, restart your computer and enjoy your new MacOSX-looking Ubuntu. And if you ever decided that you want to go back to regular Gnome Desktop, Macbuntu comes with an uninstall script.


How to remove Macbuntu 10.04 v2.3 Lucid Lynx
Open a terminal and type the following commands:

$ cd ~/.macbuntu/10.04-2.3/
$ ./uninstall.sh

How to remove Macbuntu 10.10 v2.3 Maverick Meerkat
Open a terminal and type the following commands:

$ cd ~/.macbuntu/10.10-2.3/
$ ./uninstall.sh
