Logon failure: user account restriction FIX
Did you try to run an application as administrator but upon clicking, this error appear? "Logon failure: user account restriction. Solution Fix
Follow this steps
1. go to RUN(win+r) type regedit.exe
2. then go here HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
3. change the value of "LimitBlankPasswordUse" from 1 to 0 (just double click)
4. close the registry editor and try again to run your application.

thanks. i had this problem for like 4 years already since the time i buyed this laptop. but now fixed!!
Still not solved my problem for updating Firefox, despite numerous efforts I'm stuck on version 3.18. Tried removing password, adding guest account, changing administrator account. I just want to throw the computer out of the window now :(
